  • LOVE YOURSELF FIRST BEFORE LOOKING FOR LOVE FROM OTHERS.

    This Valentine’s Day, I’m checking in with me and giving myself some love !!

    In any given moment of stress, I check in with “𝐌𝐄” to discover exactly what I need to support myself and today, I am sharing with you 5 qualities that help me support myself as I stay firm to my goal of increasing intrinsic motivation:

    🏵️ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 – so important to s͟t͟o͟p͟ me from c͟o͟m͟p͟a͟r͟i͟n͟g͟ m͟y͟s͟e͟l͟f͟ ͟t͟o͟ ͟o͟t͟h͟e͟r͟s͟.͟ I am where I am right here, right now. This brings me to the present moment where I can be in tune with my body and my emotions. In order to heal, we need to feel!

    🏵️ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒇 – When I believe in myself, I can o͟v͟e͟r͟c͟o͟m͟e͟ ͟t͟h͟e͟ ͟d͟o͟u͟b͟t͟s͟ and find confidence to take action and get things done !🏵️ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑳𝒐𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒚 – When I am loyal to myself, I treat myself like the v͟a͟l͟u͟a͟b͟l͟e͟ ͟a͟n͟d͟ ͟w͟o͟r͟t͟h͟y͟ ͟h͟u͟m͟a͟n͟ I am and teach others how to treat me. This is how I strengthen my love for myself.

    🏵️ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑲𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔- When I recognise I am suffering ~ aka stressed, having c͟o͟m͟p͟a͟s͟s͟i͟o͟n͟ ͟f͟o͟r͟ ͟m͟y͟s͟e͟l͟f͟ ͟lowers my anxiety where I find a sense of relief and gratitude. This increases my resilience, which enhances my sense of self worth and ultimately my motivation to stay on track and follow things through.

    🏵️ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏- The more I celebrate myself, the more my c͟o͟n͟f͟i͟d͟e͟n͟c͟e͟ ͟a͟n͟d͟ ͟e͟n͟e͟r͟g͟y͟ ͟i͟n͟c͟r͟e͟a͟s͟e͟, which fills me with so much gratitude. This vibrates all around me touching those I love & serve, and further out into THE UNIVERSE. This is turn attracts more positive energy/RIZK/Blessings into my life which I am even more grateful for. This 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗣 is the secret to manifesting my success 🤫🤫🤫

  • Why do I feel so tired around some people?

    SO THAT’S WHERE MY ENERGY GOES?


    👉 If you feel that anyone in your life argues, blames, ignores, manipulates, threatens, or otherwise hurts you- it is most likely they are a toxic person in your life.


    👉 Toxic people can be family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors


    👉 You know they are toxic because they ooze negative energy and leave you feeling drained and worse whenever you are around them.

    Here are 6 type of toxic people you may already know:

    THE ENERGY DRAINER

    • Drains you of energy, overwhelms you
    • Creates problems and feeds on the negativity
    • Criticizes and bullies you

    THE FAKE COMPLIMENTOR

    • Insincere excessive praise of everything you do
    • Makes up white lies constantly to win your favour.
    • Always seems to be agreeing with you
    • Master of guilt trips

    THE PESSIMIST

    • Cannot be happy for other people’s good fortune
    • Paints a no-hope / life sucks situation and has no plan to make things better
    • Minimizes other people to feel better about themselves

    THE MANIPULATOR

    • Tries to control everything around them,
    • Needs to be in charge of every decision,
    • Makes you feel like you can’t do anything right

    THE VICTIM

    • Feeds off of gossip and drama.
    • Drama seems to “follow them” (they create it).
    • Puts you in uncomfortable positions


    It is so important to set boundaries with toxic people in your life.

    💡 Here are 3 quick steps to setting boundaries:

    • Be clear about what you need before communicating it to others.
    • Communicate your boundaries, needs or expectations clearly, calmly, and consistently. Keep it simple and state the facts without justifying.
    • Decide on the consequences if your boundaries are not respected and follow through!


    💡For me, practising loving detachment has been a game changer.

    💡 Realising that – (shock horror) I am not here to save the day for everyone has been one massive step in containing my energy instead of giving it away.

    💮 It then begins to purify the water around it creating crystal clear water.

    💮 The heart symbolises the centre of all things ~ our emotions, our relationships, our understanding of ourselves and beyond. The answer is and will always be~ LOVE
